Last night my daughter figured out how to say "Da Da"
I've heard her mumble the sounds of an M multiple times when she cries and I know it means Ma Ma but it's never actually been said. Last night she just rambled on...
"Da Da, Da Da, Da Da,"
And wont you believe, I have still yet to catch it on video. Every time the camera is on she freezes up or says all the other words in her vocabulary. I knew this would be her first word, since we have been teaching her from the start.
She is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to us. We were scared and worried it was going to be SO HARD, and don't get me wrong there have been some trying moments, however there hasn't been anything we couldn't handle so far. We are a great team and when I'm at my last draw, he steps in and takes over.
I fall so much more in love with my husband seeing him be such a wonderful daddy to our little princess. She has us both wrapped around her finger but I know that bond of a daddy and his little girl, and there's definitely something very special between the two of them. She's so happy in her daddy's arms and her laughs come from the belly when he makes her laugh. Her eyes brighten the second he walks through the front door from work.
I have to say I have been truly blesses to marry such a wonderful man at such a young age, and one who stood by me through the entire pregnancy, and now helps me raise such a beautiful smart and funny little ray of sunshine.
I'm looking forward to watching her grow and learn so much more. Her milestones are the best experiences and memories I'll ever have.
